Five years, Five Ramadans!

Though I've been on blogs since August 2003 it was only in September that I made my first post.. it's been five whole years full of laughter, tears and tough but useful learning processes.

It has also been five Ramadans, and the first week of Ramadan 08 is almost coming to an end already. Mashallah!

Thank you to those of you my friends who have sent me their congratulations that is really appreciated from the heart.

I would like to take the opportunity of this podium to wish everyone a Blessed Holy Month of Ramadan to you and your families.

Back atcha Highlander. I hope that the next year brings you and yours much prosperity and happiness. Currently, we here in the US are facing an unexpectedly close race as to just who the next leader of our country is going to be. The nomination of Sara Palin as Vice President for John McCain seems to have totally turned the race upside down. My questions to you are...

1. Have you been following this development?

and

2. If so, what's your take on it?

3. What, if anything is being said in your circles in the Middle East?

4. Do you even give a flying flip who the next president of the US is in your country?

Forward looking people here might just want to know.

You never know, It might just help.

Friend as always,
Curt
